Reusable Nespresso Capsules Refillable Pods For Nespresso Machines

Reusable Nespresso Capsules
Refillable Pods For Nespresso Machines (OriginalLine Compatible)

This morning as I was researching information for a different post, I came across Nespresso Capsule Refillable Pods.  I realized I know next-to-nothing about Nespresso products as I am not an owner of their machines.  However, I've spoken at length in the past about refillable pods for other machines, like my Keurig and the iCoffee.  It was time I gave mention and links to this product as well!

Not being an owner of the product, I had to go on the information I found and it seems that it's a likeable product, although the consensus is it's hard to get a strong cup of coffee from them.  Even packed full, the coffee reviews say it's a weaker blend.  I have noticed that with the eco-cups and refillable cups for my Keurig and iCoffee machines as well.  However, when the budget insists for one reason or another that you need to use ground coffee beans and a refillable cup, even a weak coffee is a good coffee when compared to 'no' coffee!

Question:
Is it compatible with Nespresso Prodigio

Answer:
Yes, these capsules are indeed compatible with the Nespresso Prodigio

Question:
How do you clean these? I get a caked layer of coffee on the outside edges of the cap and it doesn't come of with water.

Answer:
Well, you have to keep it fully dried first, scraping carefully with a sharp knife, then using the brush. The problem is not cleaning the pods, it is filling it with the right size of ground coffee snd packing it with the tool provided. Too tight and the steam will not go thorough properly, too loose and you will have nice strong coffee. I guess it will need extensive trial and error. So far I have had the machine for about three weeks and have not reached the right procedure :( see less

Try to let the water run through the opposite way or if your faucet is equipped with a sprayer attachment, I know the sprayer works great for me to remove the grounds out of the lid quickly. Have you tried to use the included brush? The screen lid is designed so grounds do not pass through into your cup of coffee. Also… see more
