I am a cat person and I like dogs but they take a lot of time and effort: my time and my effort. So I would wait for the worst of the worst weather and ask them who would take the dog out now if we had one. Well not one pudgy little hand went up. Ever. After a few repeats of this scenario they stopped asking. First it was a bearded dragon, then a hedgehog. Despite, having a St Bernard, a lab cross, a cat, fish in Kyle's room and fish in our bathroom, he needed "his own" animal. Oh, yes, we heard he would take care of it, take it out, handle it, clean up after it, feed it, etc. She gave in three months ago. So he goes with his father every second weekend, guess who cleans up after it and feeds it? Guess who dislikes taking it out and fibs that he has already done that?
