I've been a bit preoccupied with camping topics - which is all good - but it's also getting mighty close to Father's Day. My husband and I don't go crazy over Hallmark Holidays. As a matter of fact I get a little pissed off when brands, companies and society tell me I HAVE to celebrate something - and lay the guilt trip. Especially around Mother's Day - when I see and hear that you have buy your wife or mother of your child a $2000 bracelet to show how much you appreciate her, I almost throw up a little.
Ok. I just get mad. That's ridiculously stupid. As a matter of fact I'm thrilled when I DON'T get crap for Mother's Day. I'd rather get a little tiny something on a random Tuesday in July. Of course I'm also a weirdo who likes to get appliances for Christmas (vacuums, bread machines, whatever... yes!).
But having said that, the Husband and I sometimes give gifts on Hallmark holidays - sometimes we don't. I like it that way. It's not a requirement. It's not an expectation. And they are 'small' things. Not a flippin' $350 pair of earrings.
A t-shirt.
A coffee cup.
A pair of fluffy socks (for me... he doesn't appreciate fluffy pink socks like I do).
So with that in mind I'm offering a couple t-shirt ideas with the COFFEE theme of course... because I really need to get back on topic here on Coffee Talking. So... coffee. T-shirts. For Dad. If you feel like it.
