For the past 6 weeks or so, I've been watching news headlines and just shaking my head at the stupidity.

Depending on where you get your news sources, you can have very different views of the whole COVID-19 situation.

I read anything and everything and then dig a little more.
If I see a news headline I find interesting but I know it's from a biased source, I'll make sure to check 2 or 3 different sources for the same story to dig up more information, more (or true) facts, dig deeper than what I'm being spoon-fed.
Since about 2012, if you want the truth in news you have to dig for it.

So while this whole thing has played out, I've noticed over and over (and over) certain news sources and/or groups of people complaining about the COVID-19 virus as been handled as far as the public's safety.

People screaming for their freedom, for things to be open; screaming to shut everything down right now and allow nothing open.  Screaming for face coverings.  Screaming if they have to wear them.  Screaming for space distancing and then screaming they shouldn't have to or... just ignoring it all together.

Blah blah blah.

Well, even though parks were closed, people gathered.
Check out an internet search for parks in California packed with people during the height of this quarantine.
Beaches.
Subways.
Central Park in New York (a HOT SPOT for the virus and we've been told over and over "POOR NEW YORK" hit so hard during this time and let's all blame the President for it, and do everything we can to get free monies for this... cough cough... hardship!"

While they completely ignore social distancing and quarantines anyway.
This is on US.

It's not politics. It's not political. It's human

Instead of coming together as a country during this, our political leaders are using it to spread more lies, hate and propaganda to further their own causes.

We absolutely could have joined together and put politics aside for the good of everyone but nope.

Hate.
Politics.
Agenda's.
Personal vendetta's.
Cover ups.
Meh.

This is why I've chose to avoid most news having anything to do with ANY of this for the last 2 months.

I skim headlines so I know what's going on, and I look for the easy, un-biased FACTS that are easy to find (like COVID numbers worldwide, country wide and state wide) but for my own emotional and mental health I don't read all the mud-slinging and fighting going on with our main stream media.

After I skim, and read just a few things I go on to read the Science News, Life News, Health News, World Wide News and headlines...

Who?
What?
When?
Where?
Why?

Is it SO HARD?  Not really.
But today's journalists are just glorified bloggers with a personal agenda.

And the blame for all these people gathering in parks, beaches, coffee shops and such... is ON THEM.  And when the COVID-19 infections suddenly jump by 2500 those people have no right to complain and blame it on their local leaders, state leaders or country leaders.

It's on them.  They made the decision to go to the park, the beach, the coffee shop, the birthday party (huge birthday party in California making the news for being a hot spot of infection).

Dude... stop blaming others.
Just own it.
And join together for pete's sake.
