Keurig K-Compact Single-Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker.... nope, not for me

Hello Coffee Friends -

Ahhh!  I just don't have enough time in the day!
Granted, I know I've not been motivated to blog as much over the past 7 or 8 months, but even when I have a lot to say, or a funny story, or a product review to share... I just don't have TIME.

I still haven't replaced the coffee maker that I hate hate hate hate.  The one that was an 'emergency' buy.  Remember that?  It was a Sunday morning - EASTER morning none-the-less.  I had to run out to find a store open that sold coffee makers.  I found myself at Walmart, and they had very little in stock to choose from.  I thought this would be a good choice and I loved the cheap price.....

It wasn't.  Oh, for most people it's probably ok.  For an 'office' coffeemaker at my desk it would be great.  But for home use - not so much.  The water reservoir isn't as large as I'd like, and it does not have the option to stay on longer than 2 hours - it's an auto shut-off without a by-pass.  But the most irritating thing is really that it does not keep the water heated at all times, ready to brew.

It literally heats up the water each time, after you press a button.  This means for the first cup of the day, when you really, really want it... you will wait.  And wait.  And wait.  Sure, it may only be a couple minutes, but compared to most all other single serve makers, or even most all their other Keurigs, it's a deal breaker.  I love the option of water kept hot so the brew time is nice and fast.  For $70 (ish) it's not that great when their $99 model has a larger water reservoir and keeps the water hot, ready to brew, as well as being able to bypass the auto 2 hour shutoff.  For $20 more you can get all those options.

But... again, I was out and about early Easter morning so I got what I could get.  And unfortunately, have zero money in the budget to replace it yet so I'm still using it.

And... I'm out of time.  Gah.
