Opening up his Starlink stations for the Ukraine to have communication after Russia blocked them? He's my coffee hero of the day. Kudos to you Mr. Musk.

A few years ago, I didn't pay any attention to Elon Musk.  I saw his name pop up here and there but he and I travel in very, very different circles.  I really didn't care who he was or what he did....

By about 2 year or so ago, I was paying a little more attention to him, but just thought he was... kind of weird. I only watched a tiny bit of video or clips or quotes by him since I really had no interest in him or his life - and the little bit I saw was - - - odd? Just, odd.  But then he got odder.  I mean... naming your kid X Æ A-12 just seemed like an asshole move to me.  I assume the little guy has a normal-ish nickname for everyday use, but since Elon and his partner and I don't hang out and sip coffee together, I don't know.  I hope the little man is called 'X' or "Ash" or something.  (But probably not X since one of his older brothers is named Xavier I think... so that could be confusing.)

I'm getting off point - ha, imagine that.

Ok.  So the point is - I know who Mr. Musk IS but meh.  That was the end of it.

But he's gone up quite a bit in the ranks now.  He just did an awesome thing... by using his power for good.

Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov, took to Twitter to ask Elon Musk to provide Ukraine with Starlink stations after Russians disrupted their internet during the invasion.

@elonmusk, while you try to colonize Mars — Russia try to occupy Ukraine! While your rockets successfully land from space — Russian rockets attack Ukrainian civil people! We ask you to provide Ukraine with Starlink stations and to address sane Russians to stand.

Within hours, Elon Musk responded:

Starlink service is now active in Ukraine. More terminals en route.

With his current remark to Pelosi about how much he pays in taxes, coupled with his little quip about stopping in at the IRS to say 'hi' and maybe have a cookie, topped off with him opening up his Starlink stations for the Ukraine to have communication after Russia blocked them... he's my coffee hero of the day.

Kudos to you Mr. Musk.
