A
50-year-old Tennessee grandmother named Angela Lipps spent five months
in jail after facial recognition software wrongly linked her to crimes
in North Dakota — a state she says she has never visited.
She was arrested at gunpoint by U.S. Marshals while babysitting four children at her home in Elizabethton.
Lipps
was held for 108 days without bail and flown to North Dakota on felony
fraud charges related to someone using a fake U.S. Army ID to withdraw
money.
Her attorneys provided records proving she was in
Tennessee at the time of the alleged crimes. She said the case fell
apart after just five minutes of questioning.
She was released on
Christmas Eve after the charges were dismissed. Fargo’s police chief
later admitted investigators made multiple errors but offered no
apology.

Magisterial District Judge Hanif Johnson, who became Pennsylvania’s youngest-ever judge when he was elected in 2019 at 26, is now the subject of an active investigation by the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office after he shot a 10-month-old puppy on March 10.

This was from Gary Brecka: ".... For
the fist time, hospitals are being pushed to move away from
ultra-processed, sugar-loaded foods…and toward real, nutrient-dense,
protein-forward meals that actually support healing.
Led by @seckennedy and @drozcms
this is the beginning of a system finally acknowledging what we’ve
known all along: Food isn’t just fuel. It’s information. It either heals
you or it harms you.
I’ve seen patients fighting for their lives
being fed soda, jello, and processed food…while their bodies were
completely depleted of the nutrients they actually needed to survive.
That’s not healthcare.
That’s the problem.
This is how we start to reverse chronic disease, not with another prescription, but by fixing the foundation."
Real food. Real nutrients. Real change.

“We’ve seen God do a miracle here”. An innovative neighborhood for the formerly homeless is now open 25 miles south of Dallas. @ourcalling gave us a tour. I was so touched by what a new resident told us about how he is impacted. Phase 2 will include a library, chapel, and cafe, as well as infrastructure to eventually support 500 small homes.

From Ms. Informed PharmD:
Have you heard people arguing that 1 in 5 children died prior to vaccines? 👀😬
“Just look at all the child graves!” 💔
“Your child doesn’t need to be vaccinated. But don’t be upset when they are 6 feet under.”🤯
This is a common misunderstanding of infectious diseases and the timeline of vaccines and “modern medicine”.
It
is true that in 1900, 1 in 5 children died before the age of 5! This
was mainly due to infectious diseases like pneumonia, dysentery,
cholera, pertussis, measles, and streptococcus.
But the
mortality for all of these diseases dropped 90-98% BEFORE a vaccine or
antibiotic was available for said disease! Some still don’t have
antibiotics: ahem…dysentery and cholera!
Why the major reduction in mortality between 1900 and the 1960s, when most vaccines came out?
Better understanding of disease transmission:
Clean water
Sewers and septic (accolades to engineers)
Trains transporting fresh food
Food and water quality standards
Housing regulations (no more slums, better ventilation, occupancy laws)
Workplace safety (age requirements, limited hours, breaks, and ventilation standards)
Horses (and manure) replaced with clean automobiles
Handwashing
and quarantine! Can you believe physicians used to not wash their hands
between patients or going from the morgue to the live patients?!!
Can you think of more?
To
be fair, vaccines have reduced the number of cases of modern diseases
(though those were also heading down as well). Antibiotics are often
necessary and life-saving.
I am not saying there is no role for
either (that isn’t true at all), but I am pointing out the obvious that
people like to disguise in their narrative. It is technically true that 1
in 5 children died before vaccines. What they leave out is that
vaccines had little to do with the dramatic improvement in survival.
Not medical advice. Just informed consent and personal opinion.
